Coming Together
Homecoming is tomorrow and we have been neglecting our jobs, our families, our hygiene, and our tv shows in order to prepare. We purchased beers last night and have a fridge stacked top to bottom with meat. Here is the preliminary menu:
Straight outta Laurel WORLD FAMOUS GOOSE BBQ (nothing else to say)
Pork Spare Ribs w/ Columbia Rub
Marinated Flank Steak Sandwiches (3 marinades, with or without feta cheese topper)
Chicken Breast Sandwiches w/ HoCo's Finest BBQ Sauce (it is INSANELY GOOD)
Sweet Pepper and Feta Bruchetta (stolen from a Lindsay Daly post-bar recipe)
Homemade Fries, Fried Shrimp, Fried Corn Fritters, Fried, Fried, Fried
As you can tell, we encourage that you eat with your hands, no potato salad, no beans, just hand-grabbin goodness.
We bought Natural Light, because it is the best beer on the planet and NO Terp tailgate would be complete without it.

Make 'em say uhhhhhh...
First 7 hour smoking...success, that is some fine bark!!!
Big black roared on the scene on Saturday night, billowing clouds of white smoke that would make the papal conclave proud!
